Here's a movie poster I did for a recent independent film short titled, "Are You Ready?" I got to see the script for this one along side the finish. Its truly heart warming. The director's vision is a light hearted and warming one. What I loved about creating this piece was how it reminded me of how often one over looks simplicity. It made me think of those old Hollywood poster from the golden ages of Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, and Audrey Hepburn. Its simply a classic and refreshing vibe. And of course, most importantly, it stayed true to the director's vision and what he wanted. The film was an "Official Selection" in "The Montreal Independent Film Festival 2020." |

I designed this captivating and beautiful book cover along with the back for this amazing debuting book series. I wanted to capture the essence of the story so I picked the most important key elements as well as theme. The key elements being the night sky, clouds, moon, and a future world New York City which is important to the main character, Midas. There is also a Celestial Earth on the back as the glowing city wraps around to the back cover. I set up the composition of where exactly I wanted the readers eyes to travel when they look at this book cover. I also captured the mystical and mysterious happenings of events through the mood, choice of lighting, and colors palette. I chose a simple gold font, I used both painting techniques and photography to complete this task.I am happy with the results and have received numerous compliments on the book cover design.

I did this eerie piece of concept art for an independent film in development titled, "Mixxer" The creator of the project sent me a photo image that they wanted me to work from in composing their vision. I painted the over the glass to bring it out more. I then painted blood which over flows onto the table, along with the skull inside. I splashed some more blood on the back wall and into the logo. I painted in the lighting and shadows and some more detailing on that back wall. The piece was well received by the project's creator. Official movie website, https://www.mixxerthemovie.com |

I composed an original song for the interactive "Windchest" sculpture featured at The Burning Man Festival 2019. When the artists told me their vision, I created a whole song based on what the project means to me. Its all about the art and technology and how it connects people together which is what the sculptor represents. When interactive guests step on on the musical pads, it plays a piece of a song lighting up the sculpture, ultimately creating a song out of many songs thus connecting everyone as they interact on the pads. All the music featured was featured in multiple 3 second bits. I was blessed that my song made it in the music selections among many other talented musical creatives. Contributing to another Artist dream and vision is something profoundly wonderful and fulfilling especially when its core message resonates with you.

I created the movie poster for the independent film titled "The PC." The director told me his vision for the poster and what he wanted. The hardest part about this particular piece was the placement of the caution tape and knowing how much caution tape to have. I think that part took me the longest Like a puzzle, making the composition make sense. Also, creating the blood-drip logo font. I am glad I was able to deliver. In addition, I also designed the police ID's featured in the movie. Currently the film is available to watch on Amazon Prime. |
